Aims

The STAR Global Conference 2024 (STARGC-24) aims to achieve the following:

  1. Promote knowledge exchange, joint initiatives, and innovative solutions by promoting cross-border collaborations and partnerships among educational institutions, researchers, and practitioners.
  2. Engage diverse stakeholders—community members, educational leaders, and practitioners—towards addressing disparities in education through transformative education and research. 
  3. Foster a deeper understanding of local and global realities, prompting the exploration of collaborative approaches to learning and research.
  4. Provide a vibrant platform for communities, leaders, researchers, practitioners, advocates of social issues, students, representatives of universities, educational and research institutions, government organizations, UN agencies, NGOs, and INGOs to engage, collaborate, and share insights.

Theme for STARGC-24

The STAR Global Conference 2024 theme revolves around Engaging Communities, Leaders, and Practitioners: Advancing Transformative Research and Education. It aims to delve into the cultural, epistemological, and institutional challenges and opportunities encountered by educational researchers and practitioners who seek to make transformative impacts and changes. Furthermore, it seeks to explore a paradigm shift in educational approaches and contemplate the future trajectory of transformative education through transnational research. Participants from various disciplines all over the world are encouraged to submit the proposal to the conference to critically explore possibilities for transformative impacts of research on educational change and social impact and/or examine discriminatory and disempowering policies and practices hindering education and research, particularly in addressing emerging complexities across humane, social, economic, political, ecological, and spiritual spheres.

  6. Entrepreneurship and innovation in education: Cultivating creative solutions and social impact through innovative educational practices and entrepreneurial endeavors.
  7. Innovative pedagogies for transformative education: Share and explore cutting-edge teaching methodologies and educational technologies to enhance learning outcomes and foster student engagement globally.
